H1N1 Influenza 09 (Human Swine Influenza) Outbreak – Update 28/05/09
关于甲型H1N1 流感（猪流感）爆发之事宜，截止至2009 年5 月28 日
The Australian Government has introduced a number of significant measures in light of the
emergence of the H1N1 virus internationally.
鉴于全球出现甲型H1N1 流感病毒，澳大利亚政府现已推出一系列重大举措。
Australian tourism remains open for business and continues to welcome travellers from around the
world.
澳大利亚旅游如常接待来自世界各地的游客。
As of 6am this morning, 28 May, there are 67 confirmed cases of the Swine Influenza in Australia.
There are no confirmed cases in the Northern Territory or Tasmania.
至5 月28 日6 点整，澳大利亚已确诊67 例甲型流感。北领地以及塔斯马尼亚目前尚未出现
病例。
There are 19 confirmed cases in NSW, 34 in Victoria, 7 in Queensland, 3 in South Australia, 3 in the
ACT, and 1 in Western Australia.
新南威尔斯州确诊19 例，维多利亚州34 例，昆士兰州7 例，南澳大利亚3 例，首都领地3
例，西澳大利亚1 例。
On 22 May the Australian Government raised the alert level in Australia to ‘Contain’. The raising of
the alert level recognises that Australia has a small number of swine flu cases and at least one
human‐to‐human transmission. The aim of this phase is to contain the spread of the virus within
Australia.
5 月22 日，澳大利亚政府提高警戒级别到“控制”。警戒级别的提高表明澳大利亚存在 少数

Steps already taken against swine flu ‐ such as border protection measures and the identification
and follow up of cases ‐ will continue.

It is important to remember that while the official alert level has been raised, there are still only a
small number of confirmed cases in Australia, and the symptoms people are experiencing are
relatively mild.

的症状都比较轻微。
In response to the developing international situation Australian authorities have put measures in
place at airports which include:

• Before landing aircrew will use the onboard announcements to inform passengers that
people feeling unwell with flu symptoms should seek immediate medical attention.

• Passengers considered to have flu like symptoms will be assessed on arrival to see if medical
attention is required.
带有流感症状的乘客将在着落后接受检查及评估是否有必要获得进一步医疗救助。
• Australia’s eight international airports also have thermal scanners in place to detect
travellers with elevated body temperatures. The airports are Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide,
Perth, Brisbane, Cairns, Gold Coast, and Darwin. Passengers who are detected by the
scanners as having a raised temperature will then seen by medical staff.
